Your responsibilities

As part of our continued growth at the Lübeck site, we are looking for a full-time Firmware Developer (m/f/d) in the Research & Development department.

Development and maintenance of firmware components: You will develop new firmware modules and optimise existing ones - taking into account functional requirements, quality and regulatory specifications.

Independent realisation of projects: From conception to planning to implementation - you will independently develop firmware components, sequence controls and suitable test scenarios based on clearly defined tasks.

Coordination within the team: You will develop and evaluate firmware concepts within the development team and create the corresponding technical specifications on this basis.

You bring ideas to life: Together with colleagues, you will commission new hardware prototypes and ensure that firmware and hardware interact perfectly.

Documentation and presentation of results: You will create structured and comprehensible development documentation in accordance with the regulatory requirements for medical devices and thus ensure the conformity and traceability of firmware development.

Your qualifications

A successfully completed university/university of applied sciences degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a related subject
Several years of professional experience and expert knowledge in the embedded field in the languages C, C++, C# as well as very good knowledge of object-orientated programming
Sound experience with ARM Cortex M and Atmel XMEGA microcontrollers
Experience with controlling peripheral modules such as EEPROMs, temperature sensors, external ADCs, DACs as well as UART, SPI and I2C
Confident handling of common IDEs and image tools such as Visual Studio, CMake, make and GCC
Experience in dealing with version control systems (ideally GIT)
Knowledge in the field of control engineering is an advantage
Experience with the .NET Framework is an advantage
