Your responsibilities

To support our development department in Lübeck, we are looking for a skilled and personable professional. We offer an exciting and responsible role in a rapidly growing company. Our Lübeck location focuses on OCT technology and the integration of these systems into our own products as well as those of other manufacturers.
With your strong understanding of manufacturing processes and medical technology, you will contribute to the advancement of innovative OCT solutions for ophthalmic imaging.
  • Development, design, and integration of manufacturing and calibration tools
  • Conducting failure analyses on existing systems and developing solutions for troubleshooting
  • Designing and implementing process improvements to enhance the manufacturability of existing systems
  • Contributing to and optimizing the technical implementation of innovative optical imaging technologies (particularly Optical Coherence Tomography, OCT) from concept to market launch
  • Identifying and documenting optimization potential in prototype assemblies and assembly sequences for work instructions, as well as evaluating service concepts
  • Providing technical support for production and collaborating closely with suppliers to ensure product quality
  • Close cooperation and coordination within an interdisciplinary team

Your qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Medical Technology, Process Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional experience in product development and manufacturing optimization, preferably in the medical technology sector
  • Experience in designing (opto)mechanical components using SolidWorks or Zemax
  • Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) is a plus
  • Basic understanding of imaging techniques, particularly Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), is desirable
  • Experience in controlling laboratory measurement technology (LabView) is advantageous
