Your responsibilities

We are looking for a professionally and personally convincing personality to support our development department in Lübeck. We can offer you an exciting and independent role in a rapidly growing company.  At the Lübeck site, we are focussing on OCT technology and system integration in our own products and products from other suppliers.   
   
With your high level of understanding of biomedical optics and medical technology, you will help to develop innovative OCT procedures for ophthalmological imaging.   

  • Conception and technical realisation of innovative optical imaging processes (in particular optical coherence tomography, OCT) 
  • Participation in the planning and realisation of development projects and their documentation 
  • Construction and testing of prototypes 
  • Carrying out error analyses on existing systems and developing solutions to rectify errors 
  • Supporting the implementation of process improvements to the manufacturability of existing systems 
  • Close collaboration and coordination with an interdisciplinary team 

Your qualifications

  • Degree in engineering, physics or comparable field of study 
  • Development experience in the field of medical technology 
  • Basic knowledge of imaging techniques, in particular OCT 
  • Experience in the design of optomechanical components (Zemax, SolidWorks) and in the control of laboratory measurement technology (LabView) desirable 
  • Basic knowledge of requirements engineering desirable
