Your responsibilities

  • Providing legal advice on commercial law matters, particularly in connection with distributor, dealer, and cooperation agreements across the EMEA region
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements with distributors, customers, and business partners
  • Advising on commercial compliance matters, particularly with regard to regulatory requirements in the healthcare and MedTech environment
  • Supporting IP-related legal matters as well as licensing agreements and technology transfer arrangements
  • Providing legal guidance in the implementation and further development of sales structures and distribution strategies
  • Supporting the development and implementation of internal legal and compliance policies and processes
  • Advising on general corporate and commercial law matters relating to day-to-day business operations
  • (Nice to have) Supporting real estate law matters (e.g. lease and site agreements) would be an advantage
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external advisors across multiple jurisdictions
  • Participating in projects aimed at standardizing and increasing the efficiency of legal processes

Your qualifications

  • Fully qualified lawyer with above-average results in both German State Examinations
  • Admission to the German Bar is mandatory
  • Preferably 4–5 years of relevant professional experience in an international law firm or in the legal department of an internationally operating company
  • Experience in commercial/distribution law, particularly involving distributor and dealer structures
  • Sound knowledge of German and ideally European corporate and commercial law, commercial compliance, IP, and licensing law is desirable
  • Experience in the MedTech, healthcare, or other regulated environments is an advantage

  • Strong understanding of commercial relationships and business models
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
  • Ability to translate complex legal issues into pragmatic business solutions
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset and sound risk awareness
  • Excellent communication skills and team spirit in an international environment
  • High level of integrity, diligence, and professionalism
