Your responsibilities

  • Administration, monitoring, and further development of our VMware infrastructure
  • Operation and maintenance of the Windows Server environment, including Active Directory
  • Administration of Microsoft Azure and Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Support and further development of the backup and recovery infrastructure with Veeam
  • Operation and maintenance of our HPE Alletra storage systems
  • Ensuring the availability, performance, and security of IT systems
  • Collaboration in IT infrastructure projects (e.g., migrations, automation, cloud integration)
  • Implementation of and compliance with ITIL processes (incident, change, problem management)
  • 2nd and 3rd level support in the area of infrastructure
  • Close cooperation with internal IT teams and external service providers

Your profile

  • Completed training or studies in the IT field (e.g., IT specialist, computer science degree)
  • Several years of professional experience in system administration
  • In-depth knowledge of: 
    • VMware vSphere / vCenter
    • Microsoft Windows Server & Active Directory
    • Azure and Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)
    • Veeam Backup & Replication
    • Storage systems (ideally HPE Alletra)
  • Experience with ITIL-based processes (certification an advantage)
  • Knowledge of PowerShell or automation tools desirable
  • Analytical thinking, service-oriented approach, and structured working style
  • Good German and English skills
