- Overall responsibility for the areas of Finance and Controlling, ensuring alignment with group-wide objectives and strategies
- Design, management, and optimization of business processes, with a focus on improving operational efficiency and financial transparency
- Budget planning and control: Preparation of forecasts, liquidity, and investment planning, including budgeting, ensuring budget implementation, and compliance
- Reporting and financial statements: Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS, as well as consolidated financial statements and tax returns
- Lead Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities, including strategic planning, financial modeling, variance analysis, and scenario planning to support data-driven decision-making and long-term business growth
- Responsibility for accounting in compliance with commercial law regulations and valuation guidelines
- Central point of contact for banks, insurance companies, auditors, and tax consultants
- Calculation and negotiations: Conducting fee calculations, negotiation, and awarding discussions, as well as renegotiations
- Management of business processes, optimization of KPIs, and development of effective business strategies
- Responsibility for the integration and implementation of ESG aspects
- Lead the formulation and implementation of financial processes and controls across departments to ensure operational excellence
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of ERP systems and other finance-related IT tools to improve financial data integrity, reporting accuracy, and decision-making. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the smooth integration of finance systems with other corporate software and tools, enhancing financial visibility and data accessibility across the organization

Your qualifications
- A degree in economics and/or business administration (e.g., Business Administration, MBA, Economics, Finance/Controlling, CPA)
- Ideally +10 years of professional experience in a relevant management position, ideally in the field of Finance/Controlling within an internationally operating medium-sized company
- Very good knowledge of commercial and tax law (especially according to HGB and IFRS)
- Confident handling of ERP systems and proficient user knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Must be business-fluent in both German and English. Additional command of French or Italian is an advantage.
