- Work in a collaborative approach with distributors/subsidiaries to proactively engage new and existing customers to identify their ophthalmic solution needs.
- Demonstrate all Heidelberg Engineering devices to new and prospective customers focusing on the clinical relevance in daily practice.
- Demonstrate all Heidelberg Engineering Image Management and Electronic Medical Record Solutions/Software to new and prospective customers focusing on clinical workflow and efficiency.
- Understand regional funding, clinical and decision-making processes and identify all key stakeholders to effectively inform regional strategy and plans.
- Provide support and guidance to distributors and customers during the sales process and coordinate with the Heidelberg Engineering Academy to ensure the delivery of tailored training following purchase.
- Follow-up with customers and potential customers in regard to new evidence that will build their confidence and support their continuing education.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key decision makers within the territory to be their preferred partner.
- Work closely with the Global Clinical Affairs Team to support researchers and clinical development projects within the region.
- Work with the Clinical Affairs Manager to provide product support in the area by helpingwith advice on clinical benefits and advantages to help achieve excellent patient outcomes.
- Provide critical support to the Clinical Affairs Department during regional and international conferences and exhibitions.
- Provide presentations to distributors and international audiences both in-person and virtually to promote and educate clinicians on the range of HE group products.

- Degree or equivalent in optometry/science/technology/medical imaging area.
- Experience in face-to-face and virtual sales and demonstration of medical devices.
- Comprehensive clinical knowledge of ophthalmic instruments and diseases andanatomy/physiology of the visual system.
- High level of computer proficiency and demonstrable working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Sales and Territory management skills and experience in achieving results as part of a cross-channel team.
- Experience or knowledge in working with Customer Relations Management system (CRM) such as Salesforce or equivalent.
