The Technical Writing Department is responsible for the following areas:
- Design, planning, creation and maintenance of user and service documentation,
- creation and maintenance of production-relevant work instructions and forms,
- creation and maintenance of equipment labels, and
- translation and terminology management for Heidelberg Engineering.
Your tasks:
- Technical, organisational and disciplinary management of the technical department
- Definition and optimisation of processes in the area of technical editing, taking into account regulatory, financial and project-specific requirements
- Responsibility for planning and adherence to the budget of the technical writing department
- Clarifying the flow of information and coordination with other departments (especially R&D, Support, Academy, Product and Project Management, Manufacturing, Quality Management and Regulatory Affairs)
- Liaison between the department members and the divisional management
- Clarification with project planning in case of schedule conflicts
- Representation of department members in the preparation of documents
